The Club was founded in 1952, the goals being to develop advancement in gardening and city beautification. Each year a flower show is held for the purpose of educating and stimulating the public to beautify their own property as well as providing an outlet for creative expression in flower arranging. The annual flower show at the Senior Center on the second weekend in April is open to the public.

The Club also hosts an annual plant sale to raise money for nonprofit organizations in the city and the county. (Watch this web site and the local newpapers for time and place.) In the past few years donations have been made to the St. Cloud Food Pantry, the 4-H Clubs of Osceola County, the VFW for supplies for veterans with cancer as well as soldier overseas and horticulture related projects when they arise. The concrete planter and barrels in downtown St. Cloud were donated by the Club many years ago.

Memories in the Making

Do you have a life time of photographs in a bunch of shoe boxes? Do you have so many framed photos on your walls that you can't see the wall? Consider putting your memories -photos, historic documents, geneology records, and much more in scrap books, that you can put on a coffee table for you and your guests to browse through. This is a scrap booking club that meet on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Annex. Bring your stuff. Spread it out. Sort it. Arrange it. Supplies are available or bring your own. Lots of friendly advice. For more information call Beth Trisotto at 407 923-6033.
